How have you prepared for Skyrim?

Got my PS3 CE and guide on preorder (fiancee's paying for the CE), I just need to pay it off, hopefully next week. I will have a $35 to $40 budget for shut-in supplies. I can get soda for free from my future brother in-law. After that I just need to get pizza, pizza rolls, other appetizers, chips, plenty of antacids, and maybe advil for any headaches that might pop up.

Note to self: Somehow get god daughter out of the damn house and out of my hair.

Second Note to self: Previous note to self most likely impossible. :glare:

I would love to take some time off for this... as I know come 11th November I'm going to be sat at work, reading all your comments on the game!! haha.

It's going to be hell.

However, my son is teething at the moment, so I could get some Skyrim in during those 2am wake up calls! he loves watching me play games, so I could use that as a perfect excuse to my Wife... "I'm only playing because Sam loves it!!!!!"

how have you prepared for 11.11.11? have you taken time off, put a lock on your bedroom door and filled your cupboard with a months supply of migorang noodles? Do your parents think your going away to the mountains?

I've made sure to pre-order. And I've ugraded my PC. That's about it.

I've booked the Friday and Monday off work. My girlfriend is going to prepare nutrition while I pick up the game, and then she's going out all day on Friday (I love her). She's also got work Monday. She's practically forcing me to play a few days solid to get it out my system. Lol.

Im in the process of writing my first novel these days, and guess what; its about vikings raiding down to the mediterranean! almost feels like Nords in cyrodill.. so it makes me want skyrim even more at the same time as it makes time fly ;) Helps even more that I'm writing in my cabin high in the norwegian mountains..look out the window and I'm already in Skyrim! Other that that I'm going to give my girlfriend extra attention and friends, because come 11.11.11 they won't see me too much :foodndrink:
