First person view,

Post » Thu Oct 13, 2011 2:25 pm

This is huge for me for immersion. When you look down in first person, will you see your body? Games that include this tiny detail seem 36% more immersive. I was disappoint with OB.

I know of one modder, Loup Sombre, who attempted to mod this into OB but had significant trouble. He ever finished the mod, unfortunately, but his attempt makes him #1 in my book. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20891

Please, please, please let this be in, though I reckon I'd have heard of it by now. :[

100% more immersive would be the overstatement of the year. When i have trouble immersing myself on a videogame i just look down in real life, see my feet, and im all of a sudden really immersed. :foodndrink:

You'd be surprised what people can be bothered by though. It doesn't make me think twice either, but could it really be that difficult for the devs to just include your body when you look down? I have no idea.

The only thing I absolutely despise in this game so far, is that 'undiscovered location' marker on your compass. Please let that be toggled off. Just please...

Its useless imo, you never see your lags anyway unless you stop and look down, even in games that have legs I never see them wile I'm playing.

Im quite sad there are no Cola in Skyrim, but i guess we can't have it all. What we do get though, is what i belive is going to be the best game this year, and a few more years. :celebration:

Haha. This is one of the reasons I only play in 3rd person. 1st person totally takes me out of the world. I'm not a pair of disembodied hands. I have a body and feet. When I look down, I see them. Also, I wouldn't be holding my weapon straight out in front of me all the time, strangely enough.
