First job - bandit slayer. I'm mostly self employed but if you need help getting rid of those pesky bandits and highwaymen I'm your man. My services are cheap because I enjoy the job and there are plenty of bandit corpses to loot anyway.

I loved the highwaymen in Oblivion. Pay em 100 gold, they become non-hostile, get out of sight, then stealth kill em.

i haven't decided between a hunter or a blacksmith. i feel like i want to do blacksmithing, because hunting is nothing new and i just want to give smithing a try. but hunting is closer to something my character would do. maybe both. i plan on just living a villager life for a little while in the beginning of the game.

This will be my first time playing an Elder Scrolls game so I'm not exactly sure what's out there on the market.

Too bad we can't be a bard. With thu'um you would have no need for instruments, you can be your own rock band without the other members.

I'm thinking Mining or Wood Cutting as my first in-game jobs. :tops:

I really don't see why anyone would want to work in a game like this. Sure, it adds immersion and realism, but why work in-game when I already work most of the time in real life? Unless somehow cutting down trees and the like are really fun, I doubt I'll ever see the appeal. I'd much rather make my money questing and adventuring. The only reason I worked in Fable 2 was because quests didn't give you any money, and I hated it.

I'll be treating Smithing like a job. I'll gather as many ingredients as possible and make loads and loads of suits of armour - more than I could possibly need - and I'll sell the lot (except for my own set, of course). I'll be filthy rich!
