First off if there is an IDENTICAL thread I did not not know.
With that being said the race topic has become quite dry but I have yet to see
a poll completely similar to this one. I personally think the new argonians look
sick but I feel they are completely overrated mostly based on looks.
The most underappreciated race in my opinion would be redguards im not sure why
but I dont think its prejudice I h=just think there is to much focus on the other races
What do you think?

Imperial is the most underrated. They are the most diplomatic and one of the most awesome people in the whole TES world, and people dislike them for being generic. Hopefully they won't be in Skyrim. :foodndrink:

High elfs getting all the hate

People are always going on "Khajiit this" and "khajiit that"... Overgrown cats aren't *that* cool... I've always found it hard to take Khajiits and Argonians seriously, they just seem too "cartoon-ish"... On the otherhand Dark Elves aren't given enough credit; they're adaptive, versatile and well-suited for every situation... Besides their ashen skin and red eyes look awesome in my opinion... Bretons are also cool; their intelligent demeanor, natural affinity for magic, and pale skin make them easy to relate to (for me; being small, pale, and scholarly myself )

Redguards are underrated. They are amazing warriors, but Orcs and especially Nords get all the attention.

Khajiit are overrated. I dont need to hear every second post how Khajiit are the best just because the persons using them is a cat owner or is obsessed with the Lion King.

I will be playing as Redguard, Nord, Orc, and Dark Elf, I might even try my hand with a Khajiit just so I can see if they really are that amazing

I have no problem with them, but I will not be playing as Breton, Imperial, Wood Elf, or Argonian. Bretons and Imperials are too generic and weak. Im not a fan of the whole tree hugging elf deal, and I refuse to play as a bipedal salamander.

I have extreme problems with and will never play as a High Elf. I dont know why, I just hate them.(Maybe a bad experience in Oblivion lol)

I wonder if the overrated races will still get high numbers of underrated votes... hmm

I would have to say Vampires are the most overrated characters in the TES series. But that's not a choice on your poll so...

Underrated? Reduguards, no question. Best warriors, and no one bats an eye.

Overrated? Argonians, hands down.

Me? Dark Elf for life.

Who do I hate? High Elves. Hate is a strong word though... strongly dislike I guess...

It is but it's also a race. you can be considered part of that race by becoming a vampire. But in my opinion it's the most overrated and overplayed race in TES. Every person I've come across that plays Oblivion has a Vampire character they think is so awesome. And the ladies who play female vampires in Oblivion like to brag and show off pictures of their scantly clad heavily modded Vampire character I just get so sick of it. It's like those idiots that think they have to play Wolverine in every game they play.
