What is it confirmed that the vampires sparkle now? Vampires and Werewolves are okay and stuff, but I don't see why everyone and their mother has to make a thread on them. Can there even be a hybrid of them anyway lore wise?

Plus I love sun-fearing vamps over glitterballs.

What is with the whole glitter thing anyway in general?

Vampire 1: When I go in the sun I burn alive like the blazing unending sunlight, you?
Vampire 2: I shine all glittery and nice like.
Vampire 1: *trollface* WTF?

When when you first become a vampire or werewolf, a message pops up and says that "You will not be able to join Team Jacob" press continue. or visa versa.

I would like to know as well...though Im sure it would mean that Todd and the team will have to make [censored] up :P

P.S. I think your getting pretty defensive, He was joking (must of been, look at all the smileys)

I don't get it either. Surely their faces would glitter too, wouldn't they need to wear burka's to hide it.

Obviously when I said "it made sense" I did NOT mean logical sense.

Lets not forget vampires and werewolves are purely mythical legends so their Lore can be whatever anyone wants it to be.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Bloodmoon:Werewolf

"Living as both a werewolf and a vampire is tough, as the disadvantages of both add up. Travel and general interaction with people become pretty limited, for instance, and you take sun damage and must kill every night. The stat increases, however, are considerable." This was in Bloodmoon.

I like the idea of having both vamps and werewolves, adds a different play style and difficulty level. I've no idea what Twilight is, other than it is a book or a movie...some kinda story anyways (I'll guess its aimed at the younger generation since I do read and watch movies, but don't pay too much attention to the adolescent aimed stuff...I'm older so it just doesn't appeal to me),...no idea what the connection is to Elderscrolls, except it's brought up often. I've watched the underworld movies and enjoyed them well enough. But I don't see ES as having quite the same lore, except in the most basic concepts.

In past games I never want to play as a vamp on a first play through, but it does add to my gaming..I have to be paranoid around them and keep watching to verify I didn't contract the disease. I would go to one of the churches usually afterwards for the blessings..just in case.

Their was also a message stating "your sword skill has risen to 56" and 5 minutes later another message "your sword skill has risen to 55" so you can put that one away.

Werewolf AND THEN a vampire, mate.

:hubbahubba:

Werewolves are also immune to diseases.

Also, it would be dumb since there would be no point to chose between a vampire and a werewolf.

And, like I sad, I would prefer that they implement werebears instead.

It could be possible to contract both diseases before either one takes hold.

I thought of this, but I think when someone gets made into a vampire they turn dead. They feed on others to live. Therefore their blood wouldn't be active and the disease would eventually exit the vampire's body or die due to an nonliving host.

Also someone above said Weres are immune to disease also.

I don't believe elder scroll Werewolfs had disease immunity, but I could be wrong.

I was thinking, if Werewolves were confirmed, could you be both a vampire and a werewolf? Obviously they would clash, but would it be possible?

You could do it morrowind. So yes I imagine if they are both in you can do it in skyrim as well, but I warn you it is not nearly as cool as you think it is.

Its been a while since I last played bloodmoon, only twice was I a proper Werewolf....I loved that ring of Hiricine.

Wether werewolves are immune or not, contracting both starting diseases before take hold is still viable.

One is a diease, one is curse. By logic, they don't preclude each other. It will be interesting.
