Dr. Whitley

Post » Fri Oct 14, 2011 6:16 pm

We all know from ED-E without DLC that he was built by Dr. Whitley at Adam's Airforce Base back in D.C. We learn more about him from Lonesome Road and how he viewed the Enclave (under Col. Autumn).

I think he went AWOL on the Enclave, because in Fallout 3 w/Broken Steel (canon material since it's mentioned in New Vegas) you meet Stiggs whom the Enclave picked up from the side of the road half dead in order to work on the robots.

But, why would they need Stiggs if they had Dr. Whitley!? I hope that Dr. Whitley survived and we run into him in Fallout 4 (or whatever the next one is called). It would tie in all the games a little bit better.

If there is a post about this already, please direct me to it, thanks.

Whitley created ED-E. Whitely was on the Enclave Crawler. Two totally different people.

The wiki says it's the same Whitley:

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Whitley

Hence why he's not found on the crawler, I think he ran away.

Granted, not everything the Wiki states is fact you do know that right? Odd though, he was called Whitely in BS, and called Whitley in FNV. Typo perhaps in BS or FNV who knows.

Regardless, he's most likely dead either way.
