I want to overtake a town. : V

So, I had an idea, and was wondering whether or not it'd work.

Would I be able to like, be bestest frainds (by doing heaps of additional quests etc) with everyone from a town, and then slowly destroy them by killing them one by one?

Will they find out it is me? I haven't played Oblivion, so, help please? ;3
