From my aquistion, "Ishmael" is returning with news. I think that something is'nt right within the ARK, there feels like theres four puzzle pieces missing. Ishmael might be returning to unite the guests and the founders once more to carry on, or she is attempting to pull strings and create a "Dollhouse Warfare".

As from who is the good and the bad, there really isnt any. Chen is a man who wants to LEAVE, not take the ARK ( Whats strange is this change from 'I want the Ark!' to 'I'm leaving the Ark!' ) and find a better life for his people and expand. At the same time, he feels as if the Founders are horrible people and think that they will betray him soon as he tells the truth of what'll happen to the Arkoral within the Ark, as the same for the Founders tell him there are savages upon the world, they would think that they're lying to him and he will continue ripriding the Ark. It's just a huge puddle of mistrust and un co-operative signing on both ends. Ishmael will probably break the silence, or come to tell the Founders and guest that they need to prepare for defense, and in which case, every man woman and child will surround the ARK defending their only home left( Epic Ending ). On the other hand, the ARK might start to fall apart before both sides realise 'the ground is coming up from under them' and decide to work as one.

And another thing, the Founders are not bad people, they help people and they're in the same boat ( Ironic ) as everybody else. Think about is, Ishm tried to help a woman's sick son and soon as her Founder Card shone, she was spat upon and yelled at for really nothing. Founders could've let everybody die and save themselves for MANY of years to come with all of their food and water supply. But they did the opposite, they put there lives on the line and they got shot by those same people.

I also really do hope that they flesh the story out with DLC, There's all these characters in the cut scenes and we know who a whole two of them are. Chen and that... Msomething other guy. Kind of makes the cutscenes all 'wellwhoopded- hey there's my character!' >.<; But at the same time I do kind of like being just another knuckledragger grunt and not someone integral to the story. If they showed it more from your characters point of view they could give it a sort of mockumentary feel to it.

I imagined the outside world sort of like the world in Fallout 3, but with a lot of water, and very little land-mass compared to what the earth was like before. People would be working together, whether its for a good or bad cause, or just for pure survival. There'd be small settlements, big towns (megaton-esque), cities built on the tops of skyscraqers which are now all linked with walkways & bridges, etc etc. Of course, you'd get savages, like the raiders from FO3, but not everyone would be like that.

Too bad we never meet any of these interesting characters or care about them in the game.
I think we should first build a story to engage us in the world more, and to show us rather then tell. Because I can get as much entertainment from listening to description of places from playing DnD.

It would probably be feasible to conduct a Marxist anolysis of Brink; the proletarian Resistance and the bourgeois Founders. Not sure where the Security would fit in though. When considering the outside world, I think SD would be restricting themselves too much to say indefinitely 'there is no life beyond the Ark'. This is apparent in the majority of post-apocolyptic scenarios (Fallout, Borderlands, Metro 2033, Enslaved, The Road, Waterworld etc.), there is always someone else somewhere. It could be a similar setup to Enslaved's colonies; savages, but not in the 'grr, argh, rip your head off' way.

I think the new ship seen at the end of the resistance campaign should contain people from another ARK type colony going through somewhat the same situation
