DESCRIPTION & MORE INFO:
This is a compilation that includes most (if not all) of the best weapon and armor replacers for Bethesda's the Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. It represents nearly a decade of incredible work from the MW modding community, a group of gifted individuals I feel fortunate to have shared a corner of the internet with. Each modder showcased in this package shows an eye for detail and an apreciation for the game's original look and feel; each weapon and piece of armor should be familiar to a veteran player of the vanilla game, while at the same time having been lent the ability to sparkle and shine (sometimes literally!) on today's high resolution displays.

Optionally, some weapons that previously had not unique meshes but were uniquely named/enchanted have become visually unique. You will need to use UCArmoryUnique.esp for these changes to become apparent in your game.

The weapons made unique by use of the .esp are the following:
Dagger of Symaccus, Banhammer, Light of Day, Seasplitter, Temreki

In addition to the above effects, this pack contains Plankye's enchantment glow remover ("pluginless noglow"). If you use anything that modifies the enchantment "glow", you may want to take care to make sure the relevant files are not replaced. Keep in mind however that many of the rare artifacts that would generally have a "glow" now have bump and environment maps, and that the vanilla glow or any replacements for it besides a remover like the one included will diminish or completely override the effect of the new detail.

This is the first of several packs in a series called "Unification Compilation". You can follow my progress on the various packs http://www.somethingfornobody.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=95. For a complete overhaul of the game's presentation, I recommend following my http://www.somethingfornobody.com/2011/morrowind-modding-guide/, which is written with UC in mind.

You can find a complete list of credits http://pastebin.com/N0NPn4up. If you would like to read the complete Readme, it can be found http://pastebin.com/8u2gpcNW.

TO-DO:
There are still a few things I'd like to do with this pack. If you're reading this and you're interested in contributing, feel free, but if not, I will most likely end up doing these things myself when I find the time. I'm also interested in your advice on replacers I could add to this pack I might have missed!

-More uniques; I'd like to take a few more meshes I am aware about in the community and apply them to various enchanted items
-Bump/Reflect/Glow more stuff; in most cases, it'd be bump/reflect maps on weapons that by-and-large haven't been given this treatment yet. I'd like to be able to see my blade refracting the light when I pull it free of it's scabbard.
-Integrate Ghostnull's Daedric enhancements; I would need to fiddle around with NIFSKOPE to add Ghostnull's maps to the Detailed/Reflective Daedric. You'd THINK the weapons would be fine, but when I tried them in game the reflect maps looked really weird so those need tweaking before I'll include them
-Integrate Baldarian's Transparent Glass Armor; this will probably be the easiest, just need to tweak the Detailed/Reflective Glass set to have transparent glass pieces
-Fix up Detailed/Reflective meshes to work well with MW's detailed shadows; right now, the meshes are sort of messed up in ways you can't really tell. There are small holes in them here and there you'd never see while playing, but that make MW's detailed shadows chug. Someone, probably me, needs to go into Blender/3DSM and get rid of all of the gaps/holes so we can play with Detailed Shadows again.

Awesome news, with so many graphic mods for the landscape, my weapons and armors are contrastingly bad, thank you for collecting these.

No, I don't have those. I would really appreciate it if you uploaded the fixed mesh so I can stick it into the package and throw out a quick update!

Are there any other non-english mods in this category you suspect I might not be aware of?

Did you feminized meshes too?
No. Not a fan of feminized meshes, seems strange to me that a piece of armor would magically change form depending on who was wearing it.

However, I understand the appeal of that sort of thing. You've been around awhile, Sister, so I figure you probably already know about these mods but for anyone else wondering about this, you can use the mods below with this pack if you want feminized meshes...
-Divine Domina http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=2360, http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=2361, http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=300, http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=2689
-Darknut's http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=119915&id=5992
-Plangkye's http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=9229

Unfortunately, these meshes might not look entirely proper along with the meshes provided in UC Armory as many of the armor pieces in UC Armory are reflect mapped, where as the Divine Domina meshes are not. If there exists a set of Divine Domina meshes that have detail maps applied, I am not aware of them.

I know these mods and that's why I asked if you would do the same to them. Actually I should have posted the whole question so no misunderstandings can happen:

Did you or are you planning to do the same overhaul to the femal armor versions?

Well, I assume the answer is no. That's a pity.

I know you know! :3

If Plangkye ever finished the female curiass replacer she was working on or someone else made a similar mod of the same quality and style and someone made reflect/bump maps for them, I'd absolutely love to include them as an option. I don't have any motivation to do this myself, though, since I wouldn't use them etc etc.

Yeah, Plangkyes stuff is worth her weight in gold.

I only and ever play female chars, so I'd love to have high quality meshes, but... *sigh*

There's a lot of unique items made by Saint Jiub that were released as a resource pack in his http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1068828-wipunique-uniques/page__p__15532881__fromsearch__1&#entry15532881 thread which I'd recommend using. Alaisiagae also released a bunch of stuff that are http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1213102-untested-resources-that-need-to-become-mods/page__p__18164348#entry18164348 that I'd recommend looking at.

And here's a list of some weapon and armor replacers I'm aware of and usually use. Not sure if you know about them all or not.

Weapons

http://mw.modhistory.com/download--5752
http://fullrest.ru/files/morrowind/replacers/keening-and-sunder-replacer - I saw that papill6n already mentioned this after I finished my post, although when I started typing there were no replies in this thread yet. :ninja:
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8688
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6973 - There are quite a few different replacers for this weapon though. This one is just my favorite because it's the most lore correct.
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7194
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=4051
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8019 - Variation 2 is pretty awesome.

Armor

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7184 - Variation 5 & 7 are my favorites.

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8182
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7206 - The version that only replaces the Sarano helm is what I use.
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6106

I have little doubt I'm forgetting about some stuff that's out there though.

Oh, http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1114011-relz-jiubs-resource-pack/ with the downlaod link for Jiub's resource pack. I forgot that the download link isn't in the Unique Uniques thread.

Edit: Seeing as the download link is broken I made a new link to http://www.mediafire.com/?ho9dwt2v5mmh3v9.

@Syrcanus
Looks great. Can't believe I missed that thread. I'll get those resources in game for sure and integrate them as part of the .esp.

@papill6n
You are amazing. Thank you so much. You know, I actually thought I'd have to do a vanilla coloring of that myself, but there you are one step ahead of me.

Thanks for all of your input, guys. I'll get an update out this weekend.

Knots => if you want for these mods I have aplied the fixes on their Detailed armor version ;)
- Fixed Daedric Fountain Helm/Daedric Face of Inspiration
- Better Bodies Slave Bracer

And for the banner include by Biont in his Vivec Bumps Maps mod (and so in yours too), it's missing the alpha channel on the texture (like the vanilla one with his edges cuted).

For thess 3 fixes, there is => http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YBKOP5PT
