i just noticed b4 i came in to the forum that this section of teh forum has
30,000+ topics, and 1,000,000+ replies.

being that the next best, oblivion has
20,000+ topics, and 300,000+ replies

and this game hasnt even been released yet.

surely this game is set to be bethesdas most poular game ever

and hopefully the best also..

Remember that the forums are pruned every now and then and the those sections have probably got to that stage once or twice. :thumbsup:

Nah, Skyrim has the best publicity, and the largest fan-base. The TES community has snowballed with each release.

Weeell. I know for a fact that the Oblivion section was much bigger years ago when Oblivion was coming out. I also know that Skyrim is probably bigger than Oblivion the same way Oblivion was bigger than Morrowind.

So.. meh. You are right, but I don't think the data you used to back it up is right

As pointed out, the forums are cleared of old topics every so often. You cannot compare numbers.

Try going the very last page of Oblivion General -check out the date-, then do the same with Morrowind General.

Going to the last page of the Oblivion General Discussion forum, they seem to only go back to 2009 where a lot of interest was with Fallout 3 at the time, but it's not unrealistic to think this game is getting all the attention as it does look incredible.

I'm pretty sure that happens with every series, halo got more popular with each release, as did battlefield and call of duty.

I have no freaking clue how Black Ops made call of duty more popular. HORRIBLE installment. Anything NOT Infinity Ward has svcked.

Skyrim isnt as well known in the asian region though, must be due to the relative fewer xboxes

i didnt know about oblivion till i started browsing through some website (gamespy or ign or whatever)'s top games of all time
