Things you would like/not want to see?

I am just looking for the communities general opinion on what they would enjoy using in the game and what they would prefer to go without.

Weapon: I hope they bring back the spear/crossbow/throwing darts as these were all very creative and added much variety to how you could go about adventuring and altering your character.

Magic: For magic I hope they include jump/levitation/slowfall spells back into the game! These added so many interesting ways to get around and forced you to be much more prepared than just carrying health potions everywhere.

Realism: Maybe for this having a hardcoe mode option like in Fallout: New Vegas! Letting us choose how intense of a roll playing experience we want to play with. I also read a thread about armor damaging where our and the enemies armor would show wear and tear as we fought through dungeons showing us how damaged we really are as well as adding another notch to realistic effects! Making footprints in the dirt/snow you walk in would be nice to that effect too.

Morrowind had so much more variety than Oblivion! Not saying that the game was not great because by all means Oblivion and Morrowind both are some of the funnest games ever created. But I personally enjoyed the freedom and variety of choice that Morrowind aloud me to Opt. for in game while using a much larger variety of skills to accomplish tasks.

~

On a side note, I also pray that this game is Single Player only! The only online option I would appreciate in a Elder Scrolls game is Online Arena fighting against other players to test your true skill in combat under a variety of circumstances.

For weapons, I want all the weapons back that were taken out of Oblivion from Morrowind
Magic, I want all the spells back that were taken out of Oblivion for Morrowind and I want new and more creative spells and spell classes like Necromancy and Transmutation
Realism, I want arrows imbeaded in my foe to actually impede him while he is alive

Realism: Actual physical interactions between npcs, and even with the player towards the npc. Handshakes, hugs, carrying ko'd/dead bodies, etc. etc. just adds so much more for me.

Realism: scrap the quest marker, and add the ability to ask everyone about what/who you're looking for. The quest markers made everything too easy, but I never had the patience to run up to everyone and check their name.

It would just be people with 100 in every skill, and a suit of reflect damage 100% and reflect spell 100%.

This please, god yes.

Sadly, the time for adding stuff to the game is long gone. They're in final testing now, at most.

Get rid of the quest markers. Make this game into an RPG and not like a shooter. Dice rolls and randomness should happen in this game because that's what makes RPGs fun and re-playable more than an "FPS". Bring back the seperate armor pieces like Morrowind/Daggerfall had, in-depth character creation like Daggerfall, and customization with your whole body, not just your head. Bring back weapon types, levitation, slowfall, etc.

I would like it so there are lots of areas with drab landscapes...so modders can fill them in with ULs.
