I won't be leaving the forums. I will however, be moving to the mods section on release day. I suspect that most of those folks that say they'll be leaving, will still be here on and after 11-11-11.

Yes I will be leaving. I reckon with busy home life commitments and the like it will take me a good half a year to reach the 300 odd hours of play time I read it contains and as others have said I don't want to read a single spoiler!

Once I have installed the game on 11th I won't be back in a while. If I'm looking for any info I'll refer to the wiki, google plus nexus.

It has been said by some of the moderators that the Skyrim forum will be categorized.

I will probably stick around until release, and then be absent for a week or so, returning to check out the interesting screenshots my fellow forumites will start providing.

A possible exception would be the need for technical assistance.

Yes, to avoid spoilers. I might come back to check the Steam discussion in CD every one and then and I'll be eventually hanging around the modding section.

I'll stick to the general forum and hopefully everyone obeys the rules and keeps the spoilers in the right forums.

I plan to decrease my exposure to the forums in late October, but it really depends on how bugged the game is - I may need to return to get the patches to make the game playable, as most ES games need 2-3 patches....

I remember having the ending of Oblivion spoiled for me thanks to a troll in our Oblivion forums.

I'll probably stay out of the Skyrim section until I do a lot of my own exploring.

If I had any doubts at all, this settled it. I'd really hate it if I stumbled upon a post that spoiled the story I've yet to discover. Will they be making a Spoilers/Cheats forum soon? When things leak, they are spoilers because Bethesda didn't choose to release the info.

Since patches are only available via Steam you won't need to return here for those.

I left the forums when NV came out so I wouldn't be spoiled.
Will likely do the same with Skyrim until I've completed my first playthrough.
But I won't leave until the game has dropped.

I'll leave when I get the game and probably won't come back until I've played a fair bit of the game (MQ and factions). That way I won't get any big plot spoilers. The only reason I'd come back to the Skyrim boards early is if I run across a bug or something and need a workaround. Hopefully that won't happen, as I predict it will be a cluster[censored] in here for a little while after the 11th.
