I am near the end of the thieves Guild (I think) ad I was supposed to talk to Fathis Ules after getting Sprinheel's boots, but he just says "you have made oyur choice...go away."

Is there a way I can still finish the thieves guild?

Sounds like you've completed Sins of the Father siding with the Countess. If you do that, you can't use Fathis Ules as a fence ever again.

The fence in Anvil can help you out with those ill-gotten artifacts, though.

Ok. Well, I am trying to finish the TG, but the Gray Fox isn't giving me the last quest. The map marker is pointing to Fathis, so I thought I had to talk to him or something. I have fenced about 1500 gold, do I need to fence more before the last quest? Is there something else I need to do? I have waited for days in the Imperial City.
