I just wanted to know because I want to have one for my room but what are the prices for the 7' Dovahkiin Statues I just want to know and yes I will get the money somehow...

Just buy it from the collectors edition and give me the concept art book. You dont need it. Just keep the statue.

If they're distributed like the BoS statues, they'll be placed in various gaming stores. You'll have to negotiate a price with one of them.

Pete said they'll start showing up at retailers closer to launch. Should start seeing them in October.

That is pretty badass. Come to think of it, I never thought of buying statues in general. Would add some artsy to my place.

I'm pretty sure those statues were made to be put on game stores to promote Skyrim.

It seems Skyrim is getting a lot of publicity. The E3 banner on the side of the building, the upcoming commercial, the dragon statue on quakecon/pax/e3 and of course now the Dovahkiin statues for retailers.

I bet you could get one for less than $400 from some of the retail stores if you buy it under the condition that you won't get it until a few months after release.

Would you want a similarly themed statue of the Champion of Cyrodill in your living room?

There was also a Skyrim blimp at Gamescom, and the Skyrim food truck making its rouds. I love seeing the game/series getting the advertisemant it deserves. I'm sick of always seeing the usual suspects (CoD, Gears).

I doubt we'll get one down here, I would so buy one! I bet there made from polymer with a faux bronze finish, mass produced I'd figure 100 - 300 a piece. Seeing how offspec polymer sells for a few cents on the pound, any more than that and Bethesda is gettin screwed...if its plastic that is...

Some of the retailers might try doing a giveaway, too. We definitely won't be selling them though.

I thought they were plastic, made to look like bronze.
Either way, they would be hella expensive. We all want one, and there are not enough to go around.
