Gamespot Preview

Post » Tue Oct 18, 2011 10:45 pm

It doesn't have a lot of info but this Gamespot Preview has a paragraph or so on crafting, which is the most I have seen so far. This is a feature I am really looking forward to and it sounds like they made it better than say the Fall Out 3 stuff.

If I am late on this link I'm sorry and you can hate/flame me ;-)

"We whipped up a batch of magically active cheese fondue that was flavored with illegal moon dust lifted from an orc dealer we met and murdered on our travels."

ORC DRUG DEALERS!?

Damn I really want this game now =[

On the topic of crafting, one of the other previews mentioned tempering an 'iron dagger' into a 'fine iron dagger' which is interesting since there are likely more stages above that going up to something like master crafted.

The Orc drug dealers part really grabbed my attention too. I like that you can experiment with combination of ingredients and such and not just have a static list of things that can be made. I can't wait to try out smithing too. Raising a weapon's level sounds interesting. I also didn't know there would be leather working. That sounds like a great reason to go out and hunt deer and such.

This review sounded like they had some very interesting things happen.
