Steam Cloud Enabled?

Anyone know if Skyrim will be Steam Cloud enabled?

I often play games between my PC and laptop, would be a lot easier if my save games were synced!

I hope so. STEAM Cloud should be a MUST feature for all STEAMworks games.

Agreed, anyone found any info on this feature? I've asked at the steam forums too but no reply as of yet.

O.o this would be awesome because my boyfriend's comp is way better than mine. I can play when he's at work then switch over!

Personally, I doubt it. Somehow I don't think that Steam wants to save 50-100MB+ worth of save files from people playing Skyrim. (Plus, the upload time when quiting from a play session would probably get quickly annoying for many players, when they just want to quit and be done with it.)

But maybe I'm looking at it from the standpoint of someone who keeps a rotating set of 10-20 saves for a character, and probably makes a dozen new saves during a typical play session.

Does this mean that steam isn't evil after all?

It didn't work so well for New Vegas. Unless they found a way around that issue with quicksave/autosave, then it likely won't be Steam Cloud enabled. Personally, I'm gonna disable this feature anyway until I have a reliable, unmetered Internet connection AND more than one place to play the game. Even then I need to reimplement a method of synching addons that I used with New Vegas in order for my saves to be truly portable.

If they are going to annoy people with Steam, it's the least they could do to make up for it.

?

I've been a staunch supporter of Steam this entire time. Perhaps you're thinking of someone else?

Evil? Hardly. There are no saints in the matter.

I don't really have experience with games unlocked using Steam, since I've only ever played demos on it, but as long as it doesn't give me any problems or slowdown or anything its all good.

The cut just do it the way that's it's done in civilization V! All seves are local exept for 10 slots on the cloud, and when you are done playing you can save to one of them. nice and easy:)

Can't you just keep a copy of your save file on a USB drive or in a Dropbox?
