If you become a Vampire will Vampires attack you on sight?

I will infect vampires with a nice case of death, so long as their not complete psycho paths trying to kill me on sight. That being said, possibly. I don't think Vampires would be chummy with anyone outside their little collective group. But it is a possibility.

No, but it may be possible that a different type of vampire may be in Skyrim (Volkhairs or whatever) so that will be interesting if it is true.

no one knows yet. its likely, to keep the vampire infested caves challenging so you cant just walk in, loot, and leave without killing one person. what i am hoping for is actual factions of vampires, 2 or 3 would be good.

Well if they have joinable factions of vampires they won't but otherwise im sure they will

If NPC vampires are nothing more than dungeon fillers like in Oblivion then there would be little reason to make them friendly to player vampires.

i would like to think once you became a vampire that other vampires would welcome you home .. the same way the darkbrotherhood and thieves guild accepted you in oblivion

HOWEVER, i know that from vampire lore (not in elderscrolls but simple vampire lore) that there are many factions and religions in vampirism, in so much that many vampires even hate themselves for being a vampire and hate other vampires. and will kill others on sight.
but i would assume 70% of the vampires would welcome you as family

Depends. If there are vampire clans, then the clan you were infected by will not attack you. In Oblivion for example, the only person that had a +20 disposition AFTER you became a vampire was Janus Hassildor. Hopefully vampires in Skyrim will have the same deal. With vampires that infected you be friendly. I for one want to marry a vampire NPC!

yes that would be pretty cool, as seen in oblivion not all vampires are evil...it would be pretty cool if you could marry a vampire NPC...

Your only way to get into a clan is to be converted by a member of that clan. They would probably look at it as an intrusion on their territory if another vampire barged into they're layer.

Since vampires are creatures of deceit, they'll likely be reluctant to trust outside vampires, just as you'd be reluctant to trust them. They might seek to manipulate you into serving them, or they may kill you on sight... I suppose it depends on whether there's any depth to the vampire aspect of the game, or they are just dungeon filling.

Not all of them, trust me.
