My character is kind of a loner, more likely to stay on the sidelines, but if either side is to sway him the Stormcloaks seem more likely to do so.

When the Thalmor come seeking blood on imperial shores, the Imperials will know who to call. The independent nation of Skyrim will gladly give them aid and avert the eventual attempt at genocide that is to come.

Kind of really depends on which of my three planned characters I am playing at the time:

1. Main (Nord Warrior): "The Empire will be crushed beneath my boots!!"
2. (Nord Mage): "Civil War? Where? Too busy gathering ingredients."
3. (Nord Thief): "Nord, Imperial, all the bodies on this battlefield have gold on them."

Personally, I'm not a fan of the Mede Family, its just another small time warlord that marched into a broken capital and tried to call it his own.

They may control Cyrodiil but they have no right to rule the rest of Tamriel, its just not proven.

Aside from that, the whole banning Talos bit, goes entirely too far. There are Nine Divines, not Eight. The Medses need to be put down as heretics.

And as for fighting in the war or not....

The spoils of war are their own reward, the profit from fallen enemies will be more then enough reason to fight.

Slaying Dragons may grant power, but not wealth. Laying waste to a Legion with that power? There is always gold to be made.....

We will lead Skyrim into a glorious new era, even if I have to knock a few heads together to make it happen. We need the displaced Dunmer (Whom the empire hasn't even so much attempted to make black marsh pay for invading.) and Orcs (Aided their escape, but no retribution against High Rock and Hammerfell.) to band together, take back what is rightfully theirs, and ironically enough, make the empire listen to the voice of justice. For the sake of Tamriel, we cannot let the Thalmor and their imperial puppets win.

Depends. If they both svck I might have to take over and establish a new order of justice like I did in New Vegas. I've liberated a desert, now I get to liberate an icefield.
