Ugly?
I find them really cute and, together with Dunmer, are only other race I can play with as replacement for my beloved Bretons. ^_^

You don't have trees watching your back, you have them controlling you. Your a pawn in they're scheme for global tree domination.

Whatever man, its thanks to those tree's that Argonians totally kicked the Daedra's asses when they invaded. While the other races were [censored]ting their pants when the Oblivion gates opened.




Yeah I never really got why some people call them ugly. Some of them actually look cool/cute to me. Unless their talking about Oblivion Argonians but even then they weren't as bad as most of the human, and elf NPC's. :whistling:

They're only going to turn you into trees later so they can make sweet tree love to you......mark my words!

Seems I was dead on. Argonian fans are so hateful nowadays. So are many of the Dunmer fans but jeez, you guys just do the whole we-smell-blood thing huh?

Saying you whooped the Dunmer as some kind of proof of your race's validity is silly and illogical given prior events. The Dunmer enslaved and oppressed the Argonians for hundreds of years and the Argonians AND the Hist were powerless to do anything until the Dunmer took pity on them and decided to start trying to free them and be nice. Essentially you couldn't do anything until you were enabled by cultural change, religious disaster, and Daedric disaster after Daedric disaster. Then the Dunmer got Efffed up by the events of Red Mountain blah blah blah and the Argonians recognized weakness and invaded. Now they are better? Horrible reasoning if I have ever heard any.

Both are great races. The logic fail of your arguments are incredible sometimes. By your logic the Dunmer are better because they kicked your butts when you had no excuse for being weak or strong. See how this will be a cycle of stupidity?

Love em both and will have two playthroughs as both. Neither is better and events do not change that.

Pretty sure the Argonians were once much more tree-like and later evolved into the more amphibious form you recognize them as today.

Their heads. I mean compared to the other races, their heads are, objectively, somewhat larger.

For whatever reason, my first ever TES character (and one of the longest used) was an Argonian. I'm the type of person, who, given a fantasy game, will pick the most human like race 99% of the time.

To this day I have no idea why. Never made another, although I have made a couple Kahjiits, usually to roleplay thieves. If ES next game takes place in a tropical or desert province, (it would be foolish not to) I might resurrect the character. But you right that they seem an odd choice for Skyrim.

I really think Bethesda should just come out, and say if Argonians are cold blooded or not. Hell it might be explained in Skyrim. It could have something to do with their newest evolution.

Well perhaps there is few reasons why:
- Improved appearance, from Oblivion frog-humans to badass dinosaur like argonian
- Argonian popularization with Greg Keyes novels
- Histskin health regeneration
