Are you happy with your current console/PC?

Happy with my current PC config and no doubt it will run Skyrim well, but I'll most likely be upgrading when the first good hi-res texture mod shows up.

Just upgraded from XBOX Elite to XBOX Slim but that was because Husbands Gears of War 3 wouldn't play on the old one. Oh well at least I know Skyrim will run brilliantly on the new one :)

I'm happy with my 360, but am also saving up for a PC specifically for FNV and Skyrim for modding.

Yeah currently leaning heavily towards the 6850, which is cheap considering how well it performs. And I'm all about cheap!
If that works out for me it'll cost me about 200 euro but will ensure I can play Skyrim on high-ish settings.

Don't think you'll have any problems with that card, it's quite high up on Toms Hardware heirachy chart.

I just built a new PC about 2 months ago.

Intel I7 2600k
8GB of ram
GTX 580

I think I'm ready

Didn't build it just for Skyrim of course. Battlefield 3 is about to come out plus I might add a 2nd 580 and this rig should last me 5+ years.

I'm on PC and I'm happy with it. And unless something malfunctions I am done upgrading/swapping hardware.

lol, i bought a gtx 480 in june of last year for 400 quid, a few months later once the 580 was out, it had dropped a hundred pound, so i know what it feels like to waste money, but your card might struggle with Skyrim, as it's not a gaming card, you might have to buy it i'm afraid.

I got a Intel i5-2500 and a Geforce GTX 570 so that will do the trick.

In order to upgrade my PC's GPU I would have to buy a new PSU and motherboard. My current build has been working out well for me and will be able to run Skyrim but not max it. I'm planning on building a badass new monster PC around the end of next year though.

Yeah, I know. It'll probably be worth it too. It's just when I see that 200 euro dissapear from my bank account I die a little inside! But atleast it'll last me a few years until TES VI. ;)

I built my current PC this past Feb. Not just for Skyrim. Im still working on the build. Just need to get a video card. I am currently using the onboard video from my mobo...i can play oblivion no sweat. However i know im going to need to get a video card soon. I am leaning on this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102945&nm_mc=OTC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-Video+Cards-_-Sapphire+Tech-_-14102945

my PC build is this

Asus M4A89GTD PRO
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2
G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s
Antec EarthWatts EA750 750W 80 PLUS Certified
Windows 7 Pro 64 bit

Soon to upgrade my video card, more memory, and add another HD or two.

but like i said i am hoping my current system will play Skyrim decently until i get my card.
