Daggerfall and Mouse Sensitivity Issues

Hello all, first time here!

I played Daggerfall more hours than I care to admit, and it's still my favorite TES game. Decided to return to it but I'm having an issue that I can't quite manage to work around.

Knowing literally nothing about DOSbox, I used the prepacked DOSBox version from uesp.net (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Files). Everything runs perfectly on my Win 7 64-bit system, except for the mouse.

With the mouse (A Logitech G700) locked to DOSbox properly, full movements are fine. Turning, long sweeps of the cursor, etc, all behave perfectly well. However, when trying to make more precise clicks, such as distributing stat points or picking up loot, the cursor seems to catch and stutter, and becomes very difficult to make precise selections with - essentially, small, slow movements result in nearly no movement at all of the cursor on the screen, meaning I have to make sweeping motions of the mouse to get any real input.

I considered trying to go back to an old fashioned ball mouse rather than a laser mouse, thinking maybe the game was not capable of dealing with the DPI settings of the g700, but I don't have one on hand. Hoping to get some input on what the problem may be and possible solutions before I go hunting down a legacy mouse, since I have no idea if that would even correct the issue.

Thanks for any help!

I don't have win7, but I never had any trouble with mice not working in that way. Did you check that you have the latest version of DOSbox?
