Will Bethesda ever consider purchasing user created content... then release it in dlc packs for console gamers...

There are some really good ones for Oblivion i know of which would be very sweet for console gamers...

If no... theres got to be a way for user created content to be available for console gamers...

I'm sure this topics been seen before... It's a hot topic in my brain on a daily basis when i play Bethesda games...

XBox users have been requesting that Bethesda make user-made mods available since 2002. Bethesda has seemed uninterested. Or unwilling to pursue the matter if they are interested. Unfortunately for console players I really don't see them doing this in the foreseeable future.

Also, as I recall, Microsoft strictly forbids user-made content coming to the Xbox 360 platform... They MAY have lifted this in the past, but this was a major sticking point as to why the 360 version of Unreal Tournament III came out the better part of a year after the PS3 version.

Beth has stated multiple times during the development of Skyrim that they are interested in making mods available on the consoles. But neither MS nor Sony are OK with it at the moment, and the console architecture is unlikely to happily accommodate all but the simplest of mods.

While they may be working on making mods available, they're not going to purchase and resell them. Too many legal issues, not to mention work for Bethesda (mostly in playtesting).

ok then yeah i figured legal.. and/or work and effort put into them would be too much for a company to bother with....
but if they said they would be interested in that... hey its a step in the right direction... I hope they do someday... Some i was thinking about was The Lost Spires, Bank of Cyrodil, Lost Paladins of the Divines, Midas Spells... Just to name a few...

Isn't Blizzard paying ppl for user created content for SC2 if they're really popular...? or they originally planned to?
