A little early to tell... but... best TES of the trilogy?

Daggerfall it's a damn good game indeed. I remember reading in one thread that a newcomer to the series was feeling "overhelmed" by the sheer ammount of content in Skyrim. Hell, I could barely keep up to my schedule in DF. Big, open world? I did never, and never will, be able to visit each single city and settlement in DF, let alone each dungeon. Radiant story? Pfft.

But I don't really think that I have a "best pf the series" one. It's like having a lot of children, some of them may have serious issues, but you love them all.

^^Ha, that's a good anology. It's true, each game had something different and good to offer. Daggerfall was also a fricking lot harder than any subsequent games, at least for me...especially from levels, say, oh, 1 through 20 or so? Haha. In that game any disease you caught would get worse until you died or got it cured...and if you waited too long and couldn't fast-travel to a nearby city in time...then it was time for a new character.

I don't know... I'm sure I'll feel better about it in a few days, but at the moment I feel dissapointed with Skyrim, it's nowhere near as content filled as they promised (faction questlines, WTF? What happened to "by far the biggest craziest game we've ever made"? It's got almost the exact same quest count as Oblivion and fewer decent sized cities) and I don't understand why, with all the extra people involved, we still can't get new features and mechanics without removing or destroying perfectly good features and game mechanics.
