So I started doing Gentleman Jim's quests but I got to a point where he says you need to be a Mastermind before you get more jobs so I asked him about advancement but he said "No one questions your skills as a thief, but some question your loyalty. You should do more jobs for your brother thieves." so I go to Balmora, Sadrith Mora, and Ald-Ruhn and they all tell me to check with everyone else.
What do I do? I am on Xbox so I can't use console commands.

Have you killed the Ienith brothers yet? Even if you have try clicking on their topic with Gentleman Jim.

You also might try doing a couple of Bal Molagmer quests.
