Is there a good alternative to fixme when running Vista?

Post » Fri Nov 18, 2011 5:50 am

My wife installed Morrowind on her laptop today and we were surprised when the console wouldn't work. I've seen the solution in the pinned thread but my wife is hesitant to mess with the keyboard drivers.

For the moment she has Almsivi and Divine intervention scrolls but these are inconvenient in their own way. Any thoughts on a clever solution to this?

She can try http://www.elricm.com/nuke/html/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=getit&lid=4087. It might be a good idea to check out what http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QWERTY she has on the laptop since a key there isn't available right away. :)

You can aslo map a console key in MGE Macro Editor.

Orrrrrr you can try disabling the IR drivers (http://http://www.techsupportforum.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1497779), this has worked perfectly for several people I know.
