Hello,

i played the german morrowind goty-edition a lot.

now i wanted to play the english one, borrowed from my british cousin, but my old german savegames don't work!

i have windows 7 and copied them correctly to C:\Users\******\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind\Saves but they don't show up ingame.

version is the same as in german (1.6.1820)

can someone pls help me to get this working or is there no way?

Even if you can make the save show up, I think this is going to go very badly. Cell names at least (I'm not sure about item IDs) are all localized, so you save data is going to be full of names that mean nothing to the English version of the game.

Patch 1.2.0722 introduced hiding savegames saved on different language version. I'm sure Bethesda had a reason for this.
