Hieronymus Lex

Post » Fri Nov 18, 2011 1:39 pm

Well, I did the Thieves Guild quest to get Hieronymus Lex reassigned to Anvil. Before I jsut always went along my business but this time I decided to follow him all the way there. It took him about a day and a half of game time. He stopped to fight bandits, imps, and wolves and bears. He did pretty good until he gpt to Kvatch, where he started to get knocked out in almost every fight. That's when I had to step in and take care of the baddies.

When he got to Anvil, he walked into the castle, IGNORED the queen :shakehead: and proceeded upstairs. When I followed him there he cried out "Can a man get any peace!"

I'm just wondering just how many other npcs actually walk from toen to town.

There is that dark elf you need to kill in the Dark Brotherhood with the mead allergy.

And the countess of Bravil goes to see her mother a few days out of the month.

Other than that, nothing else I can remember.

I think it's Leyawiin, but I can't remember. Her mother is a countess as well.

Good Grief, this game is an actual world! No wonder I still play after all these years!

The Countess of Leyawin is the daughter of the Countess -- and presumably the late Count -- of Chorrol. She visits her mom from the 15th thru the 17th of the month.

Other wandering residents include Ulen Athram, Ida Ottus, Stantus Varrid, Trenus Duronius. And that's the just the ones I can find from the Imperial City.

There are not enough walkers to warrant the trade that must occur throughout the game, but it is nice to see Bethesda doing some of this stuff, when other companies do not.

The same happens to the wandering scavengers and tradesmen in FO.

One of the travelers that I like is Quill-Weave (who is involved in an early Anvil Fighters Guild quest.) She's an author, and every month she walks all the way from Anvil to Chorrol, hangs out with her friend Casta Scribonia (another author) for a day, and then walks all the way back to Anvil.

It's debatable whether either of them are. :)
