Life had me stop around 2009

So, I recall working through alot of the guilds, I am not an arena champion yet but I remember wanting to do so and the fun with the fan ( especially to get him to hold a torch)
I remember I can hire a mage if I need to.
I have the knights of the Nine still unopened.

I have the battle castle free download. I have gotten my -improved- rig up and running here, now in my new home.
I remember wanting to get to a coffin shrine at nightime for a soul gem? But that is not the point

I found myself in a chapel in Burma.
The arrow had me run (and I ran... getting back-used to the game again!- I did not speed travel- I remember losing my horse)
Had me run to the chapel in Anvil.

What was the quest I was working on? I think it might be a certain baptismal font in the chapel to a certain deity- for a powerful kiss perhaps?

Can anyone surmise what Quest I was be working on? The quest diary has many open items but I cant seem to find the one I am currently on and I think it is one of those that is not a quest per se but a doable thing that generates a something else. Any ideas what that might be?

Thanks for your patience. ( this is not what I recall reading of the knights of the nine pilgramige- I have not installed it).

And I look forward to SKyrim!- will it be a add on, or a separate game altoghether?

If you went to the Anvil chapel then it does sound like you′re on the KotN questline. Any other thing you might remember that can help us help you?

Btw, welcome to the forums and have a traditional http://images.uesp.net//c/c4/Fishystick.jpg :)

Edit: Skyrim is a seperate game altogether

Is there another reason I would be heading to the chapels?

No, the only quest associated with the Anvil chapel is the Pilgrimage. You say you haven′t loaded it yet, as in you don′t have the files at all? Have you heard any rumors about the chapel of Dibella?

That might be close, the chapel of Dibella- Something about that jogs my memory, but that is it.
I do remember wanting to hold off on the thieves final quest.
I remember discovering an order to completing arena champion, warriors guild, and then what might happen after the thieves final- I remember I had it in mind regarding faction and an order as to not completely disturb faction.
oh! and THEN, continue with the gates, I was close to gathering support from various areas (I am trying not to spoil).
Once done with that then I was going to Load KoN ( as it is still unopened)
I really appreciate the time you guys have spent looking and answering - heh I am trying to re-learn the game!

I REMEMBER- sort of, but now I am aware of the direction I was heading.

I was doing the side and guild quests before wanting to continue with the main, and now I understand the faction reasoning behind not completing one particular thieves guild quest.
I was in Bruma having just completed a quest.
I needed to return to Anvil to report to the Warriors guild ( not the chapel- being away for some time, the chapel was behind- kind of- the warriors guild)
Where I became named, Champion.

Ah

Now I remember

Seeing lots of Ogres and Minotaur Lords on the roads.

I'm having trouble. o_0 I've read the OP a couple times now, but you have to understand I basically pulled an all-nighter playing Skyrim and I've got the flu partially because I've been not sleeping right. :twirl: I think we're supposed to talk about where we "were" in November of 2009, correct me if I'm wrong.

If I got that right (lol) I can say I had been gaming Oblivion for just over a yaer at that point. I mean a year, not a yaer. Renee Gade II must have been extant by then, which means several months before I would have implemented a bunch of little "rules" for gameplay, one of them being my infamous electrical tape on the compass.

But I couldn't tell you exactly what I was doing with Renee. I can scarcely remember some of the details of some of my more recent characters just a month ago, matter of fact

I need sleep

Look for your current quest in "center tab" of the quest-map log UI. Maybe it will jog your memory?
