Companions faction is really cool especially early on. It's in Whiterun.

Go to Markarth city and do the main quest there. It's really good.

One of the coolest is in the Blue Palace in solitude. When you enter Solitude by the main gate wander around and a person who looks like a beggar will approach you and ask you to go fetch their master from the palace and...things get interesting from there on to say the least. Also you make out with a really cool weapon by the end.

They're pretty fun, and send you to some interesting places. There's a couple puzzles too.
Spoiler

I really wanted to help Oncano, though.
Y'know, 'till [censored] hit the fan. But even then I wanted to take his side instead of the college :P If only to learn more about the Thalmor, or maybe get an interesting 'game over' cutscene.

A Night To Remember
It's funny as hell

You'll meet a guy, for a drinking contest... You need to accept it in order to make it work.

Just do it, I'm not going to spoil anything, because it's really funny :D

From when I first talked to Ancano, I knew that guy had faults. Something was wrong with him. Still, taking his side would make an evil side to the storyline......and of course....if you want to "end the world". :flamethrower:

A Night to Remember for sure. Amazingly enough, by getting this quest, I also ended up getting the House of Horrors quest. Both of which, to remain spoiler free, satisfied the direction I'm taking my Dunmer

The Thieves Guild questline has been my favorite so far, especially when you get to the Nightingale parts.

most epic feeling, since I haven't touched the MQ would be:

The siege of Whiterun

The Gauldor Family quest line. Found the notes/books on it interesting enough and the quest is not biased towards class types gives benefits to all. Was pretty long and and some what challenging and ended off pretty well!
