How do I end a quest?

Hi, everyone!

Say, I am trapped in a Vault with no way out so, How do I implement "GetQuestCompleted?" The cheat code doesn't seem to work.

I get the following message:

"SCRIPTS: Script 'SysWindowCompiledAndRun', line 1: Missing parameter quest. Compiled Script not saved."

Any thoughts? Thanks.

i dont know the code but what vault are you in and why is ther no way out?i never heard of that

Well, it is in the http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16949, Vault 59. The enemy blows the exit door before I can access it, to get out of the vault. But nothing works short of using "movetogt," which teleports you back to Megaton. I have tried using "SetStage QuestFormID#," but that doesn't work either.

I am just not one for spending countless hours trying to get though a stupid door that's been blown or blocked: And, that is the only way out. The main vault door control panel is on the outside of the vault only, too.

First, console commands are not cheats. While they can be used to cheat they are not intended to that, so using console commands inevitably break something if you don't know what you're doing.
Second, "Get" commands function only to check a current value, not change them.
SetStage is the only way to manually complete quests. If you think it's not working you are just doing something wrong.

If you want a specific door open I recommend just using "SetOpenState 1" on the door.

Understood, but regardless the command you suggested doesn't work, especially after the door had been blown. Secondly, the main vault door only comes up with and ID# and it is not listed as being a door. At this point, I think I will just uninstall the mod and go on my merry way doing what works. However, I do appreciate your help and education on command prompts. Thank you.
