And by "we" did you mean you personally and a couple of your buddies threw molotovs at the white house? or did you mean "we" as an entire country? because i doubt everyone in canada could make the trip to washington D.C to burn the white house down. I apologize for trolling but you got on my nerves.

I guess the "we" as in when americans say something like "yeah, we are currently kicking the terrorists asses down in middle east!" to which one goes "but... you're drinking beer with your friends in a condo on the west coast while typing that, you mean you took a trip down there today with them and personally kicked terrorist ass?"

Or when a brit goes "once we controlled the majority of the known world-"

Or when a scandianvian goes "once we were vikings"

Who are "we"? You and your two friends there? When was this, last week?

Have you ever heard of Sir Isaac Brock, Tecumseh, or Charles De Salaberry. All technically not Canadians liek you argue, except they were adn fought for the British Empire, and for Canada during the war.

There were hundreds fo Milita Units fighting in the colony and in Amerca during the war.

Saying the British did it, is just saying the Canadians did it.

As Tiberius has pointed out twice, the razing of DC was a British effort executed by veterans from Europe, not Canadians. By your logic the Bahamas has just as much a claim on the event as Canada does and the Philippines invented the Atom bomb.

You can say that Canadians in 1812 were British but you cannot say that Brits in 1812 were Canadian.

This thread is going well eh? Seems to be a bunch of arguing about history and who is the bad guy in it. I had a post but I made an edit. Decided I don't want to get involved. I would rather watch and wait.
