Importing .txt files in a new plugin

Hello all, since I don't want to make a translation for FOOK,I wanted to make a copy of the falloutNV.esm and convert it into an esp;in this way,all vanilla names and quests should be italian (actual game setted language). If I make a copy and change the extension into .esp fallout new vegas crashes at the main menu. The same thing happens if I convert the esm into an esp with TES4GECKO (actually,I didn't find any fo:nv tool to convert plugins). If I make a new esp file in geck and import the txt files exported from falloutnv.esm I get a strange issue...in fact, some .txt files are correctly imported(an asterisk appears next to the ITA.esp name) and some cannot be imported. For example,if I select import Names and then select Names.txt file,it says "importing names..done!" but geck didn't import them really. What should I do?

I've resolved the problem by making a merged patch with FNVedit. It works!Just load the plugin(in this case falloutnv.esm) and add the sections you need(activator, ingestibles etc) to your "patch".esp ;)
