I set up base in the Hopeville Armory.

Set a couple of satchel charges around and all the respawning enemies don't end up getting near your stuff.

I was always thinking the Boxwood Hotel might work.

I set up in the Hopeville HQ. Nothing in there respawns, there's a Commissary, a Bed, and a Toilet, not to mention all the desks and stuff that can be used to store materials. That said, I transferred absolutely everything to the Mojave ASAP because I don't like living in The Divide.

Only problems I see are that you can easily fall on the way up by accident and the fact that you need to travel to the divide, then to the nest, then climb up it to get to your "House".

Yeah. You would not believe how terrified I was to climb up there. I mean, who in the hell climbs up there?!?!

Yeah...but the Deathclaws might kill me, if I fall it definitely WILL kill me. I went up there for as little time as possible on my playthrough. Course, I don't like heights or caves, but that's just me.

The sunshine tower or w/e? The one where you're on the roof when you first get into the final canyon of the divide when you talk to Ulysses. Go downstairs and take a left and there's a gap in the wall, (One of ulysses' tapes is there). There is a safe, bag to store your stuff in, and its got a great view and its cozy. Just put in a "roughin it!" bedroll in there and you're good.
