Any tips on getting Maria away from Benny without killing him/attacking him and shoot it out of his hands?

You could try pickpocketing him but honestly to cure him he needs a bullet to the brain.

I struggled with that too .. I tried a stealthboy, but that didnt work - i THINK that if Benny ends up at ceasers tent, and you send him to cruxefiction (i dunno how to spell that), ceaser will give you maria - and then you can go to his cross and kill him with it :wink_smile:

Or, you can play a female character, have six with Benny and either steal it when he sleeps or kill him in his sleep...

I originally set out to steal it from him in the Tops, problem was after I got it, out of my stupidity I asked to fight him in the tops. Well I had to reload then and after I reloaded it was no longer in his inventory, it was equipped... Epic fail on my part there.

I couldn't do it when he was as caesers tent. I tried PP him with a stealth boy and couldn't do it. I just did the other challenges

This is the only way you will NOT receive it, once he gets to Caesar. Any other way, and you can pick it off from his body.

I shot it out of his hands and used a Weapon Repair Kit. It took a couple of tries because, man, he's fast picking that thing back up.
