Where are the DLC at PSN?

Post » Fri Nov 18, 2011 6:13 pm

Hello there,

I'm a PS3 player from Brazil and I'm trying to buy/download the DLC's for Fallout New Vegas, but I just cannot find them when browsing the PSN from the PS3.

I already tried all options: search by name and list all add-ons. There is a menu in the Fallout New Vegas screen with the option "Downloable content" but a empty "windows" is opened, without any option.

If I browse the PSN by using my account on a regular PC, I can find only the DLC's for Fallout 3.

Is there any problem with the DLC's for Fallout New Vegas? Or might be an issue with my PSN account?

Any hint you could provide would be great... I tried contact with Sony of Brazil (PSN) but they just can't give me any usefull information (which is quite frustating).

Thanks,
Alceu

You are lucky my friend!

DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANY OF THE DLC.

It will ruin your game and your FNV experience.

The DLC makes your game buggy, freeze, lag out, and generally so inconvenient to play that there is no fun in it.

Enjoy the normal FNV and consider yourself lucky that you cannot access and waste forty dollars on the tainted DLC.

Thanks for replying.

Well, now I'm really disappointed! Looks like the DLC were removed from the US store as well (only those for Fallout 3 seems to be available).
What a shame... I'm a big fan of Fallout and would be happy to buy new DLC's for those games.
I'm starting thinking about going to the PC version because Fallout New Vegas for the PS3 is actually freezing my console (in those cases I have to shutdown the PS3 manually, the controller just stops responding to commands) and even terminating the games, taking me back to the PS3 initial screen. No error, no message. I have applied all last updates (both for PS3 and Fallout New Vegas) and don't have any DLC applied.
And what about the know bugs that may ruin completely the game, or keeping you for completing some mission because some silly logic mistake?
I already know (by Google) that Xbox versions had lots of bugs too, maybe I should avoid the PC version as well?

Yes avoid the PC version as well! All 3 version are broken! :brokencomputer: Obsidian Entertainment has done a terrible job at fixing the game! I don't even think they care at all. There just in it for the money! Its been a year and there game is still broken. Obsidian Entertainment is garbage. Oh the DLC are still in the US store! I just checked.
