amazing!! tbh if this game was over tomorrow, i.e 50 hours game play and that was it, i would still be very very happy with all i have seen and done! but its not and i expect to do triple this and then some in gameplay hours!!!
bethesda has come up tops with this title and i seriously don't get or understand the haters, i honestly think some of them either don't get the game or don't know how to play!! also if someone don't like a game, why the hell do they post???
yeah i have played some games i didn't really enjoy but do i go and post all over their forums....nope cos i got better stuff to do like post positive comments about games i do like :)

so my first 50hrs + as a khajiit assassin has been amazing and i look forward to the next 150/200 hours....hell i can see my self hitting 300 hrs in this game!!
so whats your (positive) experiences been like so far please? post how long you have been playing as well please? :)

I have only played 30 hours (nerf children!) but i have made 3 characters before settling on my sneaky, backstabbing, arrow shooting level 11. I get totally lost in Skyrim and tend to go off having had something catch my eye. Its such a wonderful game i just cannot log into Rift anymore (dont laugh :P).

No way am i putting this down for a very long time.

Gotta agree.

Though there are a few glitches & bugs, as well as odd interface options, this game is nothing short of AMAZING!

Awsome.

Im having the same experience, when I can play.

I cant believe people rushing through skyrim and have the main quest completed in 30h then coming to the forums and complaining that the game is too short.

Im more then 30hours into the game and Im still in whiterun:-) Its become my hub for side quests and exploring.
I have done just 10% of the main quest, tops. Im more interested in the other things and slowly do one quest at a time in the main quest, to make it last and get an epic feel.
But above all, there is so much to do you dont even know where to begin.
I have located so many hidden places, that I have not gone into yet, I just dont know where to begin:-)
And when I dont know, then I go to the smithing bench and create some things, or I go to the laboratory and mix a potion or two.

The haters thrive on negative energy, their loss!

Brilliant game, totally immersive and after 40 hours I am just starting the guild quests then on to mq!

Last night I was on my way to do a companion quest when I stumbled upon a little cottage, went in to explore and found a hidden switch in the basemant, which moved a bookcase to reveal a hidden dungeon. Took me a good 40 minutes to explore it and I came out a lot richer. Then i got sidetracked in town selling stuff, ended up in a drinking contest and woke up in a strange place after having wrecked the joint.

What other game gives you random experiences like that?

I have a few minor issues with the game (which I know will be sorted out in future patches), but that doesn't stop it from being the best I have played in a long long time and I've barely scratched surface.

It lived up to my expectations and then some... Haven't been able to say that in a while. :celebration:

I would have to at least add a zero to your number here. I will be playing this game for years. I never get bored with Morrowind or Oblivion, and I like Skyrim better than Oblivion, so I will probably wind up playing every race with all kinds of crazy characters before I feel like I've done everything.

I've got two characters going: a level 9 Nord who will do the MQ...and a level 14 Bosmer who ignores the MQ and simply hunts and explores. I tend to take my time and am very thorough when I explore any area. I make a mental note of potential side quests and plan to go back later...soooo much to do and see !

I haven't even decided to do any Guilds or factions and not too many side quests as of yet...I've got about 35 hrs. total.

I love the game. I started playing ES games with "Morrowind", and "Skyrim" feels like a return to the spirit of "Morrowind" in some ways. The soundtrack is the best one that Jeremy Soule has done yet, and I especially like the times when choral music is added. The detail in the game is amazing -- rivers even have a current.

300 hrs. with a single character is absolutely conceivable.

I've been playing for a little over 50 hours (restarted once) and don't feel like I've even scratched the surface. I can't imagine how large the game will end up at with official DLC and mods like OOO.

This, but without children, two characters, and my sneaky is more like level 14 with some pending level-ups.
