So, I was doing a quest for the Mages Guild in Wayrest to recover a scroll from a dungeon out in the country. The quest itself reads, (and yes, I am already a member, Journeyman rank):

Morndas the 30th of Rain's Hand:

The Mages guild of The Mages Guild has asked me to find a magical scroll in The Dunore Excavation. It is considered very dangerous, and I should not read it. I have 13 days.


Right, so - it's now the 4th of Second Seed, I have travelled around in this damn cave for a long time - and FINALLY I manage to find the scroll. It has a sack/bag icon, and when I pick it up, it reads:

You pick up the scroll, and feel it burning your hand. You quickly put it into your backpack, and you hear a strange moaning sound.

Right, so I left click the message away and looks around. No enemies, no nothing. So I Recall myself back to the Mages Guild and try to press Talk - nothing happens. Then I press Get Quest - nothing happens.

I try EVERYTHING, using the scroll, removing it, equipping it, infoing it, everything (it still has the icon of a simple sack/bag, strangely) - and now it seems I can't turn in the quest. Would appreciate any help.

I just got the same quest recently too. I think it was probably one of the added quests that is just broken, I couldn't get it to work either. Just either have to load or wait for the time to expire on the quest.
