*bump* since I like this topic. -.-
And it was not today, it was yesterday.
Anyhow...
Nelacayne was back with some quests, mainly in Solstheim. Before he left to the cold north, however, he finally found a replacement to take care of the Telvanni in Vivec when he's gone. With the previous ranking Telvanni, Spellwright Mavon Drenim murdered nearly half a year ago by Morag Tong (and no other than Nelacayne himself!), Archmagister repositioned another Spellwright, Endar Drenim from Sadrith Mora, to Vivec. (I thought of doing this with a Command spell but that would've been too much pain in the rear end, so I used console instead.
) Then off he went to Solstheim.
On Solstheim, Nelacayne searched through some dungeons he still hadn't explored. On his way he encountered a young Skaal named Ingmar who was supposed to kill a puny little draugr but couldn't, so the Telvanni Archmagister couldn't help but laugh at him. At least he spared his (Ingmar's) miserable life before went to kill the draugr and loot the dungeon on his own.
He also got reminded that there's rumoured to be a berserker "mother". He went on to search for her, and eventually found her from a dungeon. He had heard she was a tough fight. She used something that looked like a Burden magic on Nelacayne, but Telvanni Archmagister, having been resistant to any magic for a long time already, didn't get a scratch. The Denmother was dead in mere seconds. Nelacayne looted her body as he looted many dungeons this day. For he needed money to make a certain idea of his come true.
Nelacayne also found a little barrow of strange Pirate Skeletons. Their Captain held a note of a treasure - must've been that rumoured pirate treasure that's hidden somewhere on the island. Nelacayne followed the "map's" instructions back to where he met Ingmar ruined his future earlier, and dug this treasure out of the muck. (Well, not really, he just used an Open spell without removing any muck...)
When he decided he's had enough of Solstheim for a time being, he Recalled himself back to the Telvanni Vault, where his base is nowadays. He deposited any major relics he'd found there, and went off to find a strong soul, for his aforementioned idea required one.
Now that he needed those annoying Daedra pests, they seemed nowhere to be found. He first went to Ald Sotha, a dangerous ruin a short Water Walk away from his Telvanni Compound. Nothing. Just a Hunger and a Frost Atronach. Not enough. He made his way to Zaintiraris, for nothing (although he acquired Stormkiss & stuff near there; the babbles of a drunk in The Lizard's Head were true, after all), and finally to Bal Fell. After finding nothing but a bunch of Dremora Lords at maximum, he got frustrated and grabbed a scroll of Summon Golden Saint. He should've done that in the beginning, he thought. So he summoned one, Soultrapped and killed her.
A Golden Saint reminded Nelacayne of the last one he had met, one that had finally carried a Daedric Tower Shield he had searched for some time. Together with his research colleague Audenian Valius, he had discovered that such a shield can take most magicka into it. Actually so much that it could make the idea come true...
So Nelacayne made his way back to his Canton in Vivec, to see Mr. Valius. They used the Grand Soul Gem holding the soul of a summoned Golden Saint and the Daedric Tower Shield to create a cursed shield of Constant Paralysis; whoever wears that shield couldn't move a muscle ever again, and was doomed to eternal paralysation.
With every single truly influental Hlaalu and Redoran already dead, slain by Nelacayne himself, he now ponders whom to give the shield. There is still a Redoran House Cousin Fonas Retheran, a trader in Ghostgate, who should surely buy an enchanted Daedric shield the unknown seller ("Fast Eddie" in his common clothes will deliver
) states is cursed and not to be worn, and thus wouldn't even ask a lot of money from it...

For the first time in some time I actually had much fun with my classy name-character. I don't remember who gave me the idea about selling a Constant Effect Paralysis Daedric Tower Shield on an NPC, but I thought it was awesome and now I'm doing it myself.
Fonas Retheran feels like a right target; a Telvanni and Morag Tong leader is not only secretly killing all the other Great Houses' big names, but also trolling with the rest. I might sell the shield to him today... After that I don't know what to do. Even delivered Tsiya's skooma pipe to her. What I know I haven't done yet is the love letter quest. But that's about it with this character. It may soon be time for Nelacayne to head to the east, where the REAL Telvanni dwell...
