Why are the Imga not represented in TES series?

I have a hard time with this. If the Argonians frolic all about Tameriel why would Imga? Atleast one or two attached to the hip of an Altmer somewhere...

What does them not being portrayed in-game have to do with Argonians?

I assume if there is a game set in Valenwood we might see the Imga.

Not a bad question though.

The argonians are native to a pretty small part of tamriel the same as the imga the difference being they've given us argonians in multiple regions despite this. cant see why the imga dont travel. you'd think they'd follow altmers pretty much anywhere.

Because we already have the Bosmer, and they can at least be taken seriously sometimes. Do we really need a pure joke race to get so much air time?

thats hardly a reason they wouldnt migrate. "they were so rediculous they decided to stay home."

Idk how redicilious the Imga are. Their monkey people sure, the one of them was a Prophet of Alessia and started the whole Alessian Order which had a profound effect on all of Tamriel.

I'd say it's a pretty good reason. They've convinced themselves they hate men so much, they decide to stay in Merish territory. I can't think of any reason why they would migrate.

Merkah or however you say his name was a prophet of Alessia, its obvious they don't all hate man.

plenty of races hate plenty of races, but you would think you'd run into one that wasnt feeling these isolationist vibe.

I wouldn't call Black Marsh a small part of Tamriel. it's bigger than Valenwood, where the Imga originate from. also, if my lore is correct, The Hist who are worshiped and from where the argonians come from (this I'm not sure of) once covered whole Tamriel and there were no men or mer. it was in the war between the Ehlnofey and wandering Ehlnofey that most of the Hist realm was destroyed. So actually the Hist and argonians originate from whole tamriel in the very beginning.

I'm not sure about it though, I remember reading this a while back.

Gravil's got it right, Tamriel was the land of the Hist originally, and the Ehlnofey landed smack dab in their land and proceeded to destroy it with their little war.

and as far as I know the Imga never accomplished anything except mimicking the altmer. they also see men as even lesser than the beastfolk so I don't think they would actually travel to the lands of men and instead they would most likely stay far away from them.

I think it's probably cause Beth simply haven't saw fit to put them in one of their games yet.

I've always considered the Igma to be more of a servant sub-species. Sure they're intelligent, but mostly being just pushovers for Altmer back home, I doubt they would fit as a widely accepted race elsewhere.

This is a funny topic, though, because technically Khajiit are of elven lineage.

Not really. Khajiit are Big Cats native to Southern Tamriel first, and cousins to Bosmer second. And aren't related to any other Mer or Man in any way, shape, or form.
