Lords of Tamriel - An Elder Scrolls podcast. Need co-hosts

Post » Mon Nov 28, 2011 3:28 pm

Hello,

For the release of Skyrim I am starting an Elder Scrolls podcast. These games are immense, loaded with content and lore beyond most series released to date. The podcast will discuss Skyrim and it's content as we play it. As well as discussions about past elder scrolls games, their ups and downs, etc. Anyone who loves Elder Scrolls as much as I do and has room in their schedule to podcast about it with me once a week for about an hour, please contact me. The only thing I ask is that you have played both Morrowind and Oblivion to completion of the main quest. Asking that you've done everything in both games is a bit much as anyone knows, but somewhat advanced knowledge of RPGs and Elder Scrolls is required.

Those interested can PM me to set up a skype meeting where we can work out details. Co hosts will be sent show notes before each cast on basic topics we are going to cover. Then we pretty much go through em, chatting it up and having a good time. Though it's Elder Scrolls related content, I have no problems goofing around, because above everything the goal is to have fun. Even if you've never been on a podcast before. As long as you love Elder Scrolls and can talk a lot about it, you are qualified to be a part of it.

Already have an editor set up. I am very excited about this and hope there are a few people just as excited who wish to join me. I live in Canada on central time (GMT/UTC 6h), so that you know how our times will align. It will be a big deal if we make it one.

Sounds like fun, but as I live in Norway, the time difference is too big, as it would be in the middle of the night at one of the places.

Sounds like a good idea. If you manage to get it online I'll definetly be listening.

Sadly I am in the same predicament as Emberoth, living on the far side of the world. :)

I at least appreciate you supporting the idea, thanks. It's definitely going online with or without co-hosts, but until now no one has even acknowledged how cool it could be for ES fans. Thanks.

Definitely sounds interesting, and I'd be sure to subscribe. Not too sure about hosting though, as I've never been part of anything like that.

I can get behind this idea, good luck. I'd help but I probably couldn't find the time.

Sounds like an awesome idea. I've played since Morrowind, completed both MW and OB with hundreds of hours poured into both games, possibly over one thousand in OB, and have even explored quite a bit of Daggerfall since it launched as a free download, but haven't played it to completion. I'm really tempted to sign on for this, but I live in the UK, so I'm not sure if the timezones match up well enough.

When would you be recording the show? If it's a weekday, it would be an issue. Weekends though, I'm sure I could stay up into the early hours on a weeky basis.

I'm sure we could make it work. Weekends are better for me as well. I don't know the exact time difference but I beleive if you are ahead by a bit I can be up at a decent time to record during your evening hours.

If you really are interested, add me as a contact on skype: nick_gravy

Would be totally happy to have someone with that much experience on the show. Even I have yet to start Daggerfall
