Wisdom of the Ages HELP

Post » Mon Nov 28, 2011 10:16 pm

I am currently on the pilgrimage for the relics of the crusader and I am going through for Bulwark completing the wisdom of the ages quest. I have gone through fort Bulwark and gotten passed the first statue room where you must make all of the statues face the center. After that the doors opened ect. and continued into the room with chests. I have read there is supposed to be an item in the chest "Rodgers book" But no matter how long i stand on the plate nothing appears in the chest i have reloaded and started over no change. Anyone else had this problem?

So there's never been any item in the central chest? If so, you need to reload from before you entered that part of the fort.

I reloaded like said and looked in my misc. items and found rodgars stone placed that in a random chest and then the items started to appear in the middle. Thanks!

I'm glad it's working. It's a fun quest. I wish there were more puzzles to solve in Oblivion. :)

Yea, this is true. I was pretty shocked during my first playthrough of KotN just because it wasn't the typical "go hunt X enemy down/retrieve loot", there was some actual brain-work involved.

Not to brag, but I was proud of myself that I figured all of KotN's puzzles on my own without consulting any cheat sites. Years of Tomb Raider puzzles helped, of course. :) Tomb Raider's puzzles can literally take hours if not days to figure out, and I DID neet cheats eventually for some of them. :banghead:

In comparison, the few puzzles Oblivion has during KotN are elementary school stuff. But at least they're there, and I did feel a sense of accomplishment while figuring them out.

Here's hoping Skyrim has some challenging puzzles. The most puzzley quest I can think of in Oblivion was the Mage's Quest when you have to hit the pillar with multiple spells.
