Was going to buy the deluxe edition but I found out that the steam version isn't compatible with the script extender and I also read that the gamestop digital download doesn't work with mods as well.

Just want to know of a place I can buy it where the mods will work correctly. If digital versions don't work I'll just get the physical copy.

Direct 2 Drive is the place I'm looking now but not completely sure. Edit: nvm it says on D2D that some modifications are not supported. I assume only a physical copy is going to work then?

The D2D version is the one I know that does not work with OBSE. The Steam version should work fine, as I believe I remember that Valve had to make some sort of special exception for Oblivion. They specifically allowed the game to be modded.

Ya just found some more recent posts saying it is compatible >.>

Will keep digging to make sure that pretty much any mods will work but if OBSE works I suppose any others should as well.
