I hope this question or theory hasn't been asked, but if it already has (which I'm guessing it already did happen?) , is there going to be any attempt by EA or "Crytek" for that matter. To re-release a Crysis for Pc's again with CryEngine 3 , Dx11 support or any of the new optimization from the recently released console version.

For me, If there ever was any attempt for this Pc version. I'm willing to pay if necessary, and I know some others would do the same too.

They won't bother, and tbh I can see why. On PC it's nothing new, it's a 4 years old game. The effort would also be huge in comparison to the visual result, which in comparison to some mods floating about would look little better if at all.

Just download the msterconfig or the natural mod and have fun with Crysis in the original.
Its clearly the better experience and now for only 4,99 $ you can get the maximum edition on Steam.

Just trying to be optimistic here, because of all the recent comparison footage out there...

There is no optimization for PCs Angel... just the lightingsystem from the CE3 is new... everything else is downgraded.
These downgrades can be tweaked by ourselves in the original Crysis. Results would be the same.
