The graphics are outstanding and the sense of aliveness is still there, now ive played 2 hours of the game (still didnt complete the mission 1 because im just having fun around) and all the nanosuit abilities are still the same and it has the same level draw distance like it did on PC, and destructible houses, etc... its just amazing.

I severely doubt the draw distance is the same. But hey, if you want to go get a number of comparison shots to prove it from multiple areas then fine by me.

The game is not as good as the PC version but it's damn close, the foliage in wooded areas isn't as dense or as sixy as the PC version, but if you have never played Crysis then your jaw will drop.

I'm loving it, just arsing about, played like 5 hours & only just on mission 3or4 lol

Also I haven't found a frog yet o.O on PC there all over the place, only wildlife I haven't found.

Just something for comparison -purposes:

First 15 Minutes on Xbox 360:

First 15 PC vanilla on very high:

First 15 Msterconfig 3.01

-As you can see the lighting is clearly superior in the msterconfig and beats the new Cryengine 3 lighting by far in my opinion. Also the water and shadoweffects are way superior in that version than in the other 2.

-I have to admit though the consoleversions lightingsystem is clearly ahead the vanilla version on very high.
(Though we have to consider Crysis had the best lightingsystem in 2007 and it still holds up pretty well.)
But in the remastered console version its also often used to disguise rather weak detailed areas with extreme overblendig or bloom effects in the console version.

- The destruction in the consoleversion is limited as i heard that the huts are almost empty and not filled with as much interior and other "physical reacting" stuff.

- The textures near and in distance are very blurry and not on par with the vanilla version. The vegetation is not as dense as in the vanilla version. Also some particle effects and explosions are inferior to the original ( for example the debris disappear after somethings blown up like a car). Also the level of detail is popping very closely like in most console games. ( Thats because of the lack of memory i think)

Please mention i just wanted to compare all the versions objectively.
Its not my intention devaluate any of these versions by force.

Was it ever in doubt?
The 360s nearly six years old for christs sake, cut the old gal some slack: she's still doing an amazing job!

@ Maximum Girth

Cryteks CEO even claimed it looks better than the Pc version... so yes it was in doubt,, PR-wise.

Graphics, DD, foliage may be dumbed down but frogs are still there :)
