I still prefer Crysis 2 for graphics over BF3 - not that BF3 doesn't look great.

I have a feeling I would prefer the MP game in BF3 due to the greater depth and scale of the maps. I am a massive BF fan so it's unfortunate that EA decided to lump in some adware/spyware crap with the game. Though I now know there is a way to play the game without that ****. I will have to see if I can get Punkbuster games working on Windows 8 DP and I might consider a purchase.

BF3 still does not meet up my invision of what a technological soldier should be. A C2 nanosuit soldier would own a BF3 soldier all day long.

Besides, you don't have to make threads about BF3 because basically everyone's heard of it and they all know something about it. No point telling someone something they already know

Thanks for the video. BF3 certainly has some nice graphics, however this video just seems to underscore that it is still slightly behind Cryengine 3. One should not judge graphics just from one video though, and should actually play the games to form a truly informed opinion.

Having played both games myself, I can say that Crysis 2 IMO still comes out consistently ahead in terms of visuals, even though there were some parts of BF3 which came close to competing.

Cars destruction in C2 is more detailed and better. In C1 trees are better. Water rendering in C2 I like more than in BF3 (but best water rendering I've ever seen was in Resident Evil 5) and also I like enemies animation in C2 more. The rest in BF3 is better than in C2.
