This mouse is no good.
If you want go buy a Logitech G700 or Logitech Performance MX.
I use Performance MX and it is the best mouse I've used so far.

I wouldn't buy it. Corsair doesn't specialize itself in gaming mouses.
I have a Razer Imperator and it's out of this world.

It's not the mouse, it's the player using the mouse. I have a Microsoft Wired Desktop FTW :D

don't! just go with establish gaming mouse, or mices (lol); I prefer all extreme Razer mice. Yet Logitech has a significant following. Find a Mouse that fits your hand, and supports your style; turn down in-game sensitivity, and practice on your aim, aim, aim.

only using a microsoft mouse at the moment ,trouble is i have set sensitivity so low for aiming that it becomes almost crap at close quarter combat not being able to turn quick enough to respond to people behind me :(( ive tried to adjust increasing it by bits but after a while my aim starts to drift off lol.

Just get a G500, it's an amazing mouse, for just the right price. (In the <60$ range, not 60£.)
It may not have lots of buttons, and nor does it look all bling-bling, but the actual quality is great.

+1

I have a wired Logitech mouse from around 2 years ago that was at the time probably the cheapest one they sold ( I wouldn't buy it for 50 cents, now) but I still have k/d > 1 in CoD: Waw and Crysis 2.

As i said before... a lazer gaming mouse wont make you a pro if you are a noob with a standard mouse..

But if you are a good player with a standard mouse...a good mouse will give you that extra edge...

There you're wrong.

In past times, when I used a ****ty mouse, I was "decent".
Now, I'm actually "good". A good mouse can make a good player better than he thought.

cheers for your thoughts, but a new mouse isnt to make me any better. just after a decent mouse to make things a bit easier e.g to map the keys to mouse for ease of use .

Check out the Logitech MX518. I paid about $50 Australian, and I'm pretty happy with it. The two thumb buttons are great for cloak/armor modes, and its very comfortable.

By "decent" I mean a noob. Of course it didn't push me right into the pro leagues, but it sure did raise my overall position. It didn't give me an extra edge, it removed what held me down.

The G500 is the successor to it. ;)
And practically every mouse has the two thumb buttons now.
