2H warrior. a 2H greatsword with berzerker is awesome! I'm only level 10 and it boosts my weapon damage to 97.

2h warrior. Level 17

Primary skills: Smithing, Heavy Armor, 2h
secondary: i really don't any and am sitting on 2 unused perks all the time it seems, kinda conflicted on what to do.

Playing on expert with crafted gear and some enchantments. Been pretty easy except my first encounter with a frost troll and a few random bandit chiefs have proven to be quite capable of 3 shotting me. Other than that though i'm really enjoying the build, my only issue is that i can't seem to pick a secondary perk tree to go with since i'm very narrow in my scope of gameplay in terms of what i do and what i use.

A whole mess of things. As a thief, I have low health. I was mostly using one sword and a destruction spell, occasionally rotating to bow, but I'm getting destroyed. Up close and personal + weak health + inability to block = insta-death by charging two handed warrior.

Acttacking unseen from the shadowy high places in caves etc with a bow has helped me win some impossible melee situations for my level 5 Orc.

Right now am still learning SKYRIM's system so am pretty much using everything and seeing what i can and cant do. My orc is sort of a Nightblade mix using destruction and conjuration with heavy armor and melee weapons aswell as the bow. I will probably get more focused over time.

I also have a magic using female Bosmer named Vardella whom i have yet to decide will use mostly darker magics or be of a good nature.

I'm trying to get a really good sneak/speech character going. As of right now either Imperial or Nord, as I like inserting myself into my characters. >_>

As far as builds go, I have no idea yet. I'm totally lost since I just got Skyrim an hour ago. I'm still designing my character.

If anyone has any really good stealth builds, feel free to share.

First of all, shout out to all my Dunmer brethren.

Basically I'm completely balanced. My hp, stam, and magicka, are all 160. I wear elven armor, all enchanted in destruction bonuses. My one handed, marksman, destuction, restoration, and block are very tide close together around 50. I've taken on groups of 8 bandits and managed just fine. And if I really start to stuggle, then I go warewolf. I honestly haven't used a shout yet. No reason to.

Male Argonian

Heavy armor (58)
1 handed (71) - at the moment Bolar's Oathblade
Blocking (62) with my beauiful shield.

Character is a Smith(65) and Alchemist.(43)
Fairly decent at Speech (56)

I love running head-on into a difficult battle, making an epic fighting scene (thanks to finisher moves)
Bashing things with my shield (power Bash) makes things fun too

Specializing in Daggers, Bows, and Destruction magic, with Restoration, Alchemy, and Lockpicking, and Sneaking thrown in.

That's what I'm trying to do with my high elf. Had a restart since I didn't choose the high elf to begin with, but then watched some youtubes and read some more forums and finally took the plunge and restarted as high elf, trying to use only cloth robes, dagger, bow and destruction magicka.

Orc Priest, specialized in Heavy Armor, Restoration and Alteration. Good at Speech, Alchemy, Enchanting and Block. DPS is a problem so far though. I bash a lot with my shield.

Male Orc

I've been using a sword in one hand and a conjuration spell in the other. I throw in some archery too. :celebration:

Dunmer: Destruction Apprentice Robes, Alteration, Conjuration and Destruction, using an enchanted soul trapping Orcish Mace occasionally, joined up with the Stormcloaks and the College of Winterhold.

Nord Battlemage. Focus on Destruction, Restoration, Heavy Armor, One-handed, Smithing. Dabble in Alteration, Alchemy, and Speech (from selling loot mostly).

Having the time of my life. And my wife is falling in love with Skyrim much quicker than Oblivion. She was so inspired by being able to cook in-game that she made a Skyrim meal for us tonight: Salmon steaks, bread, and (wait for it) SWEETROLLS. I love my wife!

Male Redguard using one-handed axes and magic or shield in the other, and bow for the long-distance stuff. Still agonizing over whether to go light or heavy armor....or reroll....again.

Male Nord, guardian stone

Sword/shield and bow (I use both equally), heavy armor and high smithing. The game is a breeze so far, considering upping the difficulty.

Male Nord

Concept: Rune Warrior/Assassin

Main Skills: One Handed, Conjuration (Necromancy only), Light Armor
Secondary: Destruction, Stealth,

He is working out well so far, but I need some better Destruction spells In order to become more effective at ranged combat, might add some levels and perks to Archery to become more viable for the various DB quests.

As i do with all Elderscrolls games in my first playthrough i play Dunmer focussing on 1h, archery and destruction, also the fire resistance comes in handy when fighting dragons, the first MQ dragon tried to grill me with its flame...i just stood there and pierced it with arrows while yawning

Male Dark Elf

Stealth Ranger (1H + Shield/Archer/Sneak)

Main: 1H, Light Armor, Sneak
Subs: Archery, Lockpick

Agree with Signal09, sneaking around and sniping with a bow is insanely fun. I'm only about 6 1/2 hours in (just did the 1st MQ dragon) but I had a blast in Bleak Falls Barrow. This is the first TES game I've really committed to, I love it.
