Ok, now i know for sure there was a topic of this game completely boning every other game coming out. Now, for sure it beats Black Ops, it was announced there wont be a beta. People are definitely pissed of. I know this game is going to win the Golden Joystick Award (obviously) and now its only competition is Halo Reach, and once people see this they will love it 1000x more. :intergalactic:

Honestly, I doubt this will do better than Reach. And I hate to say it, but I doubt Reach will do better than Black Ops. Both, Halo and CoD have fans from their past games, who will buy the new ones, plus the people who play them as their first Halo or CoD games. This game has no prequels, so no fans from before. And honestly, although I think this game looks awesome, I doubt it will sell even 3/4ths as much as Black Ops. It may be competition for Reach, but I don't think so.

Black Ops doesn't have an open Beta, but this game isn't having one either. I used to hate Treyarch's games: this one looks good. Paraphrasing someone else, it'll be the MW2 we never had. I played CoD4, which I consider to be the best game yet. My assumption was MW2 was going to be my favorite game, I spent $150 on the prestige edition and loathed it the first day. Brink has the potential of being my next favorite game, but if you watch Black Ops, they've done a lot to earn your respect by taking feedback from the community, just like SD.

i think thats enough of people saying mw is crap. it is a extremely good game and thats why it gets soo many sales. its a good game because it apeals to every fps lover out there. brink being a objective based team game may put alot of people off for buying this. even i had my doubts about this game when they announced there was going to be no deathmatches of any kind. but than i rememberd how much fun i had playing resistance 2 and for me, i much prefer working with a team to complete a task. now i honestly think that this has no chance against a game like black ops but for some people brink will be the game more suited to there play style.

So, how can you even say so confidently that "Brink will definitely not do better than Black Ops or Reach."

I mean, it's gonna be funny when critics come out saying "Olawd mayn, Brink has all these colors, and the ideas are gorgeous. Not only that but the gameplay adds a pretty fresh spin on the standard shooter."

It will be a true statement. CoD Black Ops will just be another money making game... they don't care about their players anymore, they already have the popularity of CoD, so they just re-skin, patch things they coulda had in the previous version, whip up a quick singleplayer mode then sell it with a new name, just to make all those CoD children buy another game which is exactly the same as the previous ones....

Brink on the other hand, is completely new and provides a much greater experience which isnt a remake of a previous version
