Skyrim Dismemberment?

Think about how awesome it would be to actually cut someone in half with a sword instead of seeing a few pixels of blood come out them. Immersion for me would skyrocket.

Not all the time.

Do you know how hard it is to cut through bone?

About how hard it is to obtain a daedric weapon (referencing the fact it's a fantasy game)

*Walks up to random NPC*
*Cuts off arm*
*Yields for peace*
*"I'll forgive you this time!*
*Laugh every time you see NPC and his missing arm.*

We'll if you did like a finishing move on someone or something. Do you realize that swords didn't just slightly cut into people in the medieval ages.

I would like to see it as a finishing move, but I do think it is kinda unbelievable, you know in executions is often takes more than a few swings to get the head off

I understand that isn't fantasy which is why I said "not all the time". People in TES can train to be insanely strong, but most of them aren't.

By that logic then, I'm assuming "fantasy" implies people don't have bones, strength comes from how loud you yell, and the heavy the sword the more deadly you'll be.

We'll it isn't hard to stab a sharp thing into someone. That also somehow gave me a good idea, Dismemberment magic :D?

I say "Yes" but only on certain circumstances. Either the weapon has to be very powerful, sharp, and the enemy has to be weak.
I think it would be rediculous chopping a bears head off with dagger...
