Hello,

I'm writing because I'm having an issue with what appears to be a broken quest line in fallout new vagas. In the town of novac, I'm trying to complete the quest "One For My Baby". I have the latest patch installed. as part of the quest the boone npc gives you his berret to use. However it does not show up in my inventory despite the notification. It is imposable to complete the quest without it. As a test I saved the game just before talking to that npc, its the same every time. to rule out a corrupt save I loaded an earlier save and worked my way to novac. I even tried to pick pocket the npc theres nothing in his inventory. I'm at a loss I'm hoping there is some work around for this. I can supply the save game in question if needed.

Also I have verified the game files there is no issues.

ps I regret my first post was to report a problem. I'm liking the game so far I also put a ticket in with support.
